ARTICLE II – Membership
SECTION 1 – Membership Categories
Membership shall be open to any person of reputable character willing to abide by the Constitution and Bylaws of the Club. Members may be a “Regular Member”, “Lifetime Member”, or an “Associate Member” as detailed below. A “member in good standing” is defined as a Lifetime Member or a Regular Member whose dues have been fully paid for the current fiscal year.
A. Regular Membership
Dues for regular members fall under one of the following categories:
1. Family: Regular Membership for a family entitles each member of an immediate family—who reside in the same household—to be called “regular members” and be entitled to all rights and privileges of the Club. Immediate family includes a spouse or significant other and all unmarried children living at home under the age of 18, with at least one family member 18 years of age or older. Minors may not hold an elected office. Family members who move to another residence apart from the family must renew under the appropriate category (Family, Individual, or Junior) and pay the appropriate dues during the next renewal period.
2. Individual: Regular Membership for an individual 18 years of age or older on the first day of the fiscal year entitles that person to be called a “regular member” and be entitled to all rights and privileges of the Club.
3. Junior: Junior Membership is for minors under the age of 18 on the first day of the fiscal year who have the written consent of a parent or legal guardian to join the Club, and whose parent(s) or legal guardians are not members in good standing. Junior members are entitled to all rights and privileges of the Club except they may not hold an elected office. Minors who reach the age of 18 or become emancipated must renew under the appropriate category (Family or Individual) and pay the appropriate dues during the next renewal period.
If you prefer to pay via check or cash, please give your renewal payment to Membership Chair, Lynda Scherer, at the meeting. Checks should be made payable to Riverside Treasure Hunters Club (or RTHC).
We can accept credit card payments using our square reader at the meetings. Please see Cindy Boggs, Treasurer.
